So, you can choose the most convenient one for you. Apple is making a public beta version available for people to try out, test. I have read some discussion boards that say, using iPhoto 9.6.1 with macOS Sierra will work. I have iPhoto 9.4.3 and it isn't compatible with Sierra. The final version will be available this fall. I have updated to macOS Sierra but i am unable to use iPhoto. MacOS High Sierra is the next version of the Mac operating system.
